East Cape
Baja California Sur (Baja South) is an overall quiet and peaceful State. However, there is a special area that is growing at a fast pace without losing its magic and tranquility – the East Cape. It stretches from San Jose del Cabo to La Rivera, and Los Barriles.
East Cape Boats
At about 120 kilometers south of La Paz, most of this area is accessed by dirt roads which take you to white sandy beaches in Rancho Buena Vista, Cabo Pulmo, Punta Pescadero, Punta Arena Sur, among others, within a few kilometers or each other.

While visiting the East Cape make sure to stop at Cabo Pulmo and swim in the Sea of Cortez, where you will enjoy the coral reefs which for part of
an underwater nature preserve. Colorful fish and turquoise waters abound.


An unspoiled landscape along an isolated coastline boasts panoramic mountain views. Rustic scenes and remote areas await those seeking a little solitude in this beautiful desert destination called Southern Baja.

Many activities will keep you busy in the East Cape, such as sports fishing, diving, snorkeling, windsurfing, trekking and boardsailing. Available throughout the year.
